Erma Lee Salyer, age 77, of Tutor Key died Saturday February 20, 2021 at her residence. She was born August 22, 1943 in Welch, WV to the late Richard and Rilda Daniel Vanhoose. Additionally preceding her in death is one brother: James Kenneth Vanhoose; three sisters: Emma Jean Preston, Neva Vanhoose, and Louise Milligan. In 1971 she married Jake "Bud" Salyers JR. who survives her death. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son: John Richie Salyer. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 6 P.M. until 9 p.m., on Tuesday from 12 Noon until 9 P.M., and on Wednesday from 9 A.M until time of services at the Baker Branch Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday February 24, 2021 at the church with Jeremy Estep, Kevin Hazelett, and Larry Smith officiating. Interment to follow at the Vanhoose Family Cemetery at Tutor Key.
