Jackson (Jack) Brown, age 92, a life long resident of Van Lear, KY died Saturday December 5, 2020 at his residence. He was born December 6, 1927 in Van Lear, KY to the late Roy and Emma Merle Arrowood Brown. Jack was a member of the Church of Christ, Jack was a true patriot, he served his country in the United States Army, and was a retired attendant for Pelphrey Chevron. On November 20, 1953 in Paintsville, KY he married Melba Jane Williams Brown who precedes him in death (January 6, 1995). Also preceding him in death is 2 sons: Ricky Alan Williams and Jackie Neal Brown, 2 brothers Roy (Bill) Brown Jr. and Eyvind Brown, 2 sisters: Dovie Brown Lawrence and Lois Brown Ward. Surviving 1 daughter-in-law Donna Jean Puckett Williams, 4 grandchildren; Christopher Brown and Michael Shane Brown, both of Van Lear, KY, Paula Williams Fairchild, Rhonda Williams Caudill, 4 great grandchildren Marcus Alan Caudill, Kaitlin Slone Howard, Matthew Caudill, Emilee Fairchild, and one great great grandchild Liam Howard. He was a son, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather; He was loved by his family and friends and respected by all who knew him. Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday December 9, 2020 at the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery with B Joe Hill officiating.
